Yet behind the emphatic scoreline, there was one issue that could not be ignored.

Fernandes then converted a penalty calmly before completing his hat-trick by reacting quickly to the rebound from Mbeumo’s effort.

What Manchester United Must Improve

However, the second-half explosion should not completely hide the problems from the opening 45 minutes.
Manchester United have players capable of producing moments of individual brilliance. Fernandes demonstrated that with his hat-trick, while Mbeumo also contributed to the scoring.
The bigger question is whether United can create consistently as a team from the beginning of matches.
There are several areas Michael Carrick can continue to work on:

The Scoreline Provides Confidence
Despite the concerns, Manchester United can take plenty of positives from the victory.
Scoring five goals demonstrates the attacking potential within the squad. More importantly, the team showed that it could respond strongly after experiencing a difficult opening period.
The second-half performance provided a clear example of what United can produce when their attacking movements become sharper and more aggressive.
Bruno Fernandes was the standout figure, but the overall improvement after half-time was equally significant.
The challenge now is to make that level of performance more consistent.
