His return would be another positive development for Carrick, particularly because Mount can operate in several attacking and midfield roles.
With both Amad and Mount potentially returning, Manchester United could have significantly more attacking depth for their second Premier League match of the 2026/2027 season.
United Need a Strong Response
The upcoming clash with Ipswich Town carries considerable importance for Manchester United.
The Red Devils suffered a 2-0 defeat against Hull City in their opening Premier League match, leaving Carrick’s side with plenty to prove in their next fixture.
