Inter Milan secured a convincing 3-0 victory against Feyenoord in the fourth matchday of the 2026/2027 UEFA Champions League. The clash took place at De Kuip, Rotterdam on November 3, 2026. This victory was marked by goals from Yann Aurel Bisseck, Francesco Pio Esposito, and Piotr Zielinski. The outcome served as a positive response for the visitors following their recent defeat against their city rivals, AC Milan, in the Derby della Madonnina last weekend. Inter was eager for a win to amend their rocky start to the Champions League campaign.

Bisseck opened the scoring for Inter at the eighth minute. Esposito doubled the lead just before half-time, while Zielinski sealed the 3-0 win in the second half. The match showcased Inter’s determination to regain their confidence and maintain their competitive edge in the Champions League.

Inter Takes Command Early

The match commenced with Inter displaying an aggressive approach. Bisseck’s high pressing bore fruit at the eighth minute when he intercepted the ball, evaded a defender, and unleashed a left-footed shot into the bottom corner of Feyenoord’s net. This marked Bisseck’s first goal in the Champions League.

Feyenoord attempted to respond through Anis Hadj Moussa, who navigated past Federico Dimarco but was denied by a save from goalkeeper Josep Martinez. Nevertheless, Inter continued to dominate the gameplay. The visiting side threatened again with multiple attempts from Dimarco, although some were thwarted by the Feyenoord defense.

Inter extended their lead in the 34th minute. Djed Spence delivered a cross from the right-hand side that ricocheted after hitting a defender. Esposito capitalized on this, heading the ball in from close range to make it 2-0. Feyenoord protested the physical challenge between Esposito and a defender prior to the goal, but the referee validated the goal, allowing Inter to cap off the first half with a two-goal advantage.

Zielinski Confirms the Triumph

As the second half unfolded, Inter did not ease their offensive pressure. Zielinski fired a shot from outside the penalty area, testing the Feyenoord goalkeeper. Spence also created a chance after advancing down the right, but his angled shot was saved by the home team’s keeper.

Zielinski finally got on the scoresheet in the 54th minute, delivering a powerful strike from the edge of the penalty area that the Feyenoord goalkeeper was unable to stop. Inter appeared to have scored a fourth goal in the 66th minute, courtesy of Esposito, but it was disallowed due to him being in an offside position when he received the pass from Dimarco.

Despite various attempts, Feyenoord could not respond to Inter’s relentless attacks, leading to the final whistle concluding the match at 3-0. This vital victory at De Kuip not only helped Inter restore their confidence but also kept their hopes alive in the group stage of the Champions League.
